Community Involvement

Diverse is proud to partner with organizations that encourage individuals to spend time outdoors and use physical activity as catalysts to bring a positive impact to our local and global communities.

DIVERSE IS PROUD TO PARTNER WITH

At Diverse Properties, we believe in creating more than just homes; we strive to build vibrant communities where families thrive. That’s why we are proud to support the Abbotsford Police Foundation’s (APF) mission of reducing crime and building relationships within our city. By sponsoring programs and initiatives that facilitate positive interactions between law enforcement and residents, we are helping to create a safer and more connected community. Together, we’re building a brighter future for Abbotsford.

Diverse Properties is committed each year to working with the team from Run for Water as the title sponsor of their Ride4Water event, to create gravel cycling events and raising money for rural communities in Ethiopia. Gravel Grinding is a new type of cycling sport that focuses on the
beauty and adventure of long-distance riding, over mixed surfaces, and terrain,
without the need for technical mountain biking skills.

As the platinum sponsor of FVMBA, Diverse Properties is committed to enhancing community sustainability through supporting the development and maintenance of mountain biking trails. Our company strongly believes in a healthy life and work balance and a part of that balance is remaining physically active. Cycling has captured a special place in the hearts of the Diverse management team, and we value the dedication of FVMBA to provide a positive experience for our biking community.

ran-mission

Diverse Properties is proud to partner with Ruth and Naomi’s Mission Family Centre as the title sponsor for their annual Ride4RAN event. In addition, our employees ride to raise funds that support families in Chilliwack struggling through poverty, homelessness, and addiction. We are proud of our staff’s involvement, regardless of riding experience to come together as a team to make a difference.

P.L. Meindertsma, (Partner in Diverse) and his wife Kristen combined their love of cycling with a desire to help those less fortunate by creating ‘Cycle 5 to Survive’ (C5TS). They set out to use their Time, Talent, and Treasures to raise $2.5M and awareness for charities so they can fulfill their purposes of creating cycles of opportunity for the less fortunate through sports, education, or business.

The number 5 is significant to their journey – using this time in their 50’s to make an impact for change: They are pledged to traverse 5 continents on bicycles over the next 5 years while partnering with 5 different charities along the way in the hopes of raising $500,000 for each charity. What began as a dream evolved into reality through C5TS—a reality that is helping make positive changes in the world.

Diverse Properties is thrilled to announce our expansion into Vernon BC, and we’re kicking off our support with the local community through North Okanagan Cycling Club! As a sponsor, we’re excited to take our passion for cycling and establish new connections, celebrate the riders, and support the trails that surround our future neighbourhoods.
